[⚠️ ACTION REQUIRED ⚠️ ] GST rate change from 8% to 9% on 1 Jan 2024
In view of GST changes coming in effect from 1st January 2024, all Singapore GST registered companies are now mandated to adjust their GST rate to 9% on or after 1st January 2024.
To assist you in seamlessly updating your store's GST settings, please refer to the comprehensive guide.
This guide provides detailed instructions on the necessary steps to ensure compliance with the new GST rate.

New feature: Schedule Unpublish
You can set schedule unpublish timer to your content, so the content will auto unpublished at the required date / time.

Setup Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We've just enabled the Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) module for all sites.
If you are still on Universal Analytics (UA), please set up/ migrate your data to GA4 by 30 June 2023. If you require assistance on how to set up a GA4 property for your site, please check out our guide below.
We highly recommend all sites to have Google Analytics for better tracking and understanding of your customers.

GUIDE
To find your GA4 Measurement ID:
- Head to your Google Analytics account
- On the left-hand menu, select "Admin"
- Under "Property", select " Data Streams"
- If you don't have a data stream, "Add Stream" and complete the process
- If you do have a data stream, click on the data stream
- Copy the Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXXXXX)
- Head to your Shopcada admin page
- Go to Settings > Tracking
- Insert the Measurement ID under the Google Analytics 4 section
To find your GA4 API Secret:
- Head to your Google Analytics account
- On the left-hand menu, select "Admin"
- Under "Property", select " Data Streams"
- Select the data stream
- Under "Events", select "Measurement Protocol API secrets"
- Click on "Create"
- Copy the "Secret Value"
- Head to your Shopcada admin page
- Go to Settings > Tracking
- Insert the Secret Value in the GA4 API Secret field
Renaming of "Print Packing List" to "Batch Packages Manager"
"Print Packing List" has been renamed into "Batch Packages Manager".
The new Batch Packages Manager will continue allows you to print packing list and picking list.
On top of that, it will allow you to be able to batch update the packages status using the bulk action.
Currently Download Packages and Upload Packages will be still exists as 2 standalone pages. We will merge these 2 functions into Batch Packages Manager in the near future.
[MARKETPLACE] Notice Regarding Masking of PII Information in Orders from Lazada
For site with Lazada Marketplace Sync Enabled
We wanted to inform you about an upcoming change we are making to comply with the data security requirements from Lazada.
Effective immediately, we will be masking off personally identifiable information (PII) from orders for all the orders from Lazada that are older than 90 days.
This means that any PII data related to orders from Lazada that are older than 90 days will be removed and replaced with asterisks. This includes information such as customer name, address, and contact details.
Please note that this change will not affect the functionality of the platform, and you will still be able to access all your order information as usual. This change is only to ensure that we are in compliance with the data security requirements from Lazada, and to provide you with an added layer of security.

GST Rate Increase (wef 01 Jan 2023)
In view of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate increase from 7% to 8% announced in the Budget 2022 by the Minister for Finance, Webcada will be adjusting the GST in our invoices issued from 1 January 2023.
As a general rule, purchases of goods and services from GST-registered businesses will be subjected to 8% GST from 1 January 2023.
How this affects you:

Invoices issued to Singapore clients from 1 January 2023 onwards will have 8% GST applied to them.

7% GST will be applicable to all invoices issued on and before 31 December 2022, while invoices issued from 1 January 2023 onwards will have 8% GST applied to them.
No action required from your end.
