[⚠️ ACTION REQUIRED ⚠️ ] Ninja Van Integration Update

We're excited to share that a new upgrade to the Ninja Van (NJV) integration will go live on 24th June 2025. 
 

What’s New:

  • Enhanced authentication via Ninja Van API.
  • Improved real-time sync and tracking capabilities.
  • Streamlined package creation directly within Shopcada.
     

Important: Authorisation Required

Before you can continue creating shipment packages with Ninja Van from 24th June 2025, you must authorise Shopcada to connect with your NJV account. 
 

How to Authorise

  • Go to Shopcada Dashboard > Settings > Orders > Carrier Settings > Ninja Van SG.
  • Click Connect to initiate login.
  • Login to your Ninja Van account.
  • On the permission screen, click Allow to grant access.
  • Once authorised, return to the settings page to confirm integration is “Connected”.

If this step is not completed, you will not be able to create or sync new packages with Ninja Van from 27 May onwards.

Meta has recently upgraded the Instagram API, and Shopcada is now fully compatible with the latest version. To ensure your Instagram feed continues to display seamlessly on your site, you’ll need to refresh the token generation.

Follow this step-by-step guide to relink your Instagram feed: 

  • Go to Manage Your Store (Dashboard) > Website Home Page Editor
  • Click the edit icon  to configure the Instagram Feed details
  • Click on Generate Access Token and follow the instructions to link your Instagram account with your Shopcada store.

GST Rate Update (Wef 01 Jan 2024)

In accordance with the GST hike announced by the Singapore Finance Minister, we are increasing the goods and services tax (GST) for the country of Singapore from 8% to 9% effective January 1, 2024. 


How this affects you:

  • Invoices issued to Singapore clients from 1 January 2024 onwards will have 9% GST applied to them.

  • 8% GST will be applicable to all invoices issued on and before 31 December 2023, while invoices issued from 1 January 2024 onwards will have 9% GST applied to them.
